A power-filled expectant team and I are sitting at the airport waiting to board our flight to the the States. I have mixed emotions, on one side we are all expectant and excited for the impartation and the encounters that we are going to recieve and that we are going to release as we head out. On the other hand we are all missing our families already. It is not easy to drive out the driveway with three kids in tears begging you not to leave, every reason one gives feels a little weak honestly.
As I look at the team I am so proud of them all. We sat a moment ago and chatted about our dream for the trip and faith is so high. It is going to be such a great time with God, I am sure of it. The trip is a blend of recieving and giving. We will be in Baltimore for Voice of the Apostles, then ministering in Richmond, Virginia at Harvest Renewal Church where our meeting has been billed as a “Gathering of the Coals” and advertised to 200 churches across the city and on the local radio. We are expectant for the fire of God which God has been pouring out in East London to touch America too. Then on to Redding, California for 5 days with Bethel Church after which we will be ministering in Vallejo, California. We are expecting GREAT THINGS.
We are sitting in the News Cafe under a poster which says “Winning Combos” and I feel like we have our word for the trip. This team Corne, Jenni, Scott, Graham, Bradley and myself are a winning combo, the blend of recieving and giving is a winning combo.
Corne looked at the poster and said “Bro, that is about a mix of hunger and intoxication!” 🙂
