Questions on Life
What is the meaning of life?
Feeling lost? Anxious? Searching for meaning? You’re not alone.
Many people today are quietly asking big questions:
- Who am I, really?
- Why am I here?
- Does anyone truly love me for me?
- Is there any hope beyond all this pain?
- Where is God—if He’s even real?
If that’s you, this isn’t an accident. You’re being pursued—by the One who created you.
The Story That Makes Sense of Life
We all live by a story—a way to make sense of life, pain, love, and purpose. But most stories fall short. The Bible offers a different narrative—one that speaks directly to our ache for identity, love, and truth.
Here’s the story it tells in four parts:
1. You Were Created to Be Known and Loved
You are not an accident.
From the very beginning, God created you in His image—with the ability to love, reason, create, and connect. You were made to know Him, love Him, and experience His love deeply and personally. That’s why love and belonging matter so much to you—they’re not random. They’re your design.
“God is love.” — 1 John 4:8
2. Something Broke (Alienation)
We all feel it: the ache, the anxiety, the brokenness in us and the world.
The Bible calls this sin—not just bad behavior, but the inward separation from the God we were made for. It’s why we feel disconnected, why even our best efforts leave us empty, and why the world is filled with injustice, suffering, and pain.
“Your iniquities have separated you from your God.” — Isaiah 59:2
3. You Are Not Beyond Rescue (Redemption)
But God didn’t leave us there.
He came for us—in Jesus.
Jesus entered our world, took on our pain, and died to remove the barrier between us and God. He took our guilt and shame upon Himself—and then He rose from the dead, proving His love is stronger than death. Through Jesus, we can be forgiven, restored, and brought into real relationship with God.
“God shows His love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” — Romans 5:8
4. There’s a Better Ending (Restoration)
This story isn’t just about going to heaven when we die. It’s about being made whole—starting now. God promises to one day restore everything: a new heaven, a new earth, no more pain, no more tears. And until that day, He invites us to walk with Him, to become agents of love, justice, healing, and hope in a hurting world.
“He who was seated on the throne said, ‘I am making all things new!’” — Revelation 21:5
So What Now?
If this story resonates with your soul—if you sense something stirring in you—then God may be drawing you to Himself right now.
Here’s how you can respond.
How to Receive Jesus and Begin a New Life
God isn’t waiting for you to get your life together before you come to Him. He’s inviting you as you are—with your doubts, mess, and questions.
The Bible says:
“If you confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.”
— Romans 10:9
This isn’t about religion. It’s about relationship—surrendering control, receiving forgiveness, and trusting Jesus to lead your life.
A Simple Prayer to Begin
There’s no magic in these words—it’s about your heart. But if you’re ready, you can pray something like this:
Jesus, I need You. I believe You died for me and rose again. Please forgive me for going my own way. I turn to You now. Be my Savior and Lord. I give You my life—lead me, heal me, and help me follow You from this day forward. Amen.
If you prayed that prayer, even with trembling faith, the Bible says you’ve been made new.
“If anyone is in Christ, they are a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come.” — 2 Corinthians 5:17
What’s Next?
Starting this journey with Jesus isn’t the end—it’s the beginning.
Here are some first steps:
1. Talk to Someone
Tell someone you trust—a friend, pastor, or mentor—that you’ve said yes to Jesus. Don’t walk alone.
2. Get a Bible & Start Reading
Start with the Gospel of John. Ask God to speak to you as you read.
3. Find a Jesus – Centered Church or Community
You were made for connection. Look for a church or small group that teaches the Bible and walks in love and truth.
4. Talk to God Daily
Prayer is just conversation. Share your heart. He’s listening.
5. Keep Asking Questions
Faith isn’t the absence of doubt—it’s trusting Jesus through it. Keep growing. Keep leaning in.
Final Thoughts
You are deeply loved. The ache inside you is real—and so is the One who can heal it.
His name is Jesus.
He died to make you whole.
He rose to give you hope.
He’s inviting you home.
Will you say yes?
Would you like to talk to someone about what you’ve just read?
