It is a inspiring to sit in a room with 2700 other Christians listening to some of the best known and anointed Apostles alive today. There is no doubting the presence of God. There seem to be holy love puddles scattered all over the hotel. It is not unusual to walk down a corridor and find four our five people lying on the floor, laughing, shaking, crying or weeping overcome by God’s presence and revelling in his love. The air is charged with power, and you can see the hunger and expectancy on the faces of the men and women here. For our team it was a great day of input and impartation.
The day started with Che Ahn, the Pastor of Harvest Rock church in California, a former drug dealer with a mantle of apostolic evangelism. He spoke passionately of the power of power evangelism, how the the gospel when presented and demonstrated with power following, softens the hardest of hearts. As I sat listening to him I grew hungry again for the courage and the anointing to be a supernatural evangelist, I was struck how evangelism is as easy as breathing for some people and decided I needed that man to pray for me. When he was ending he invited us to all stand and receive prayer, so the team and I got up, out of our seats, made our way quickly to the front to stand directly in front of the speaker and lifted our hands expectantly. After all, why be further away than necessary! We were not disappointed. When Che prayed, the power of God swept through us. I found myself struck to the floor a number of times as God’s grace fell and filled us. I waited for the end and had Che lay hands on me personally, it was worth the wait! As he laid hands on me and prayed for an anointing I was electrocuted by God’s grace and power and was thrown to the floor, again. I seem to spend a lot of my time scraping myself off the floor 🙂
In the afternoon Bill Johnson spoke on crazy courage! Although I have heard this message before it was none the less inspiring to hear it again, at the end of his message the East London team once again charged to the front for impartation prayer and we were not disappointed as power hit us!
Scott, Corne, Jenni and I went out for supper at the harbour which is stunning, and then headed back to the hotel. On arriving back at the Hotel we were surprised to find a large crowd on the pavement outside the hotel. On asking what was going on we were told that there was a fire tunnel offering free prayer-needless to say we dived in!
Straight from there we went with Pastor Chip Payne to pray for a lady who is in a hospice not far away. She is suffering from cancer. Our team ministered powerfully with love compassion and joy. I was so proud of them as they prayed, prophesied and poured the love of God over this beautiful lady. We expect good reports.
The day ended with Pastor John Arnott of Toronto. His message is and was the love of God. What a great, full day!
