It is harder than I first thought to get onto the net and post awesome moments everyday.( mainly because we are far to busy doing nothing, or doing awesome to write about it.) However, here are a few great moments.
Yesterday I got to play the morning away in the sea with my kids, becoming a kid myself in their wonderful enthusiasm. I so easily could have missed the moment, Debbie had gone out for a walk on the beach and all 4 kids were playing contentedly on the beach, I had a good book calling to me from my bed. I knew though that it would really make their morning if I went down and played in the sea with them and so I valiantly disregarded the siren call of my book, ignored the grey skies and pretended the water wouldn’t be that cold and headed for the beach. The shock of the water was largely tempered by the fact that all my kids had a blast, and an hour later as we trudged off the beach and sat drinking hot chocolate together I had to admit I loved it too. Becoming just one of the kids again…..AWESOME!!!!
Each day Debbie disappears for a long solitary walk on the beach…Awesome!!!!!
