CHINESE BEEF DUMPLINGS

by | Sep 26, 2021

We enjoyed making these Chinese dumplings as a family – and eating them even more!

The most popular type of Chinese dumplings are pork dumplings but because we only had ground beef on hand, we decided to make beef dumplings instead. We also didn’t use corn and peas in our filling because the objections of various family members. So we just added extra onion and carrot.
We wanted the experience of making our own dumpling pockets. It’s a fun thing to do when it is a group effort and everyone is participating and chatting around the table. We might try getting ready made ones next time if we want to significantly reduce the preparation time.
